I'm not sure when this place first opened (I'm thinking the 60's) but it won't be around much longer. As you can see from the pictures below, the place is quite heavily vandalized.
UPDATE: August 28, 2009 - The only thing left standing is the sign - the buildings are rubble
According to the HRM planning website, the W.M. Fares Group has proposed "a mixed use building containing 150 residential units and 104 office units or hotel suites in a single building complete with 3 storeys of enclosed parking and a penthouse.
