A condo development is going up at the site. Its certainly isn't surprising, given how hot the condo market is, particularly on the peninsula. As the baby-boomers age, it seems likely that there will be a greater demand for housing closer to things like hospitals, where one doesn't have to worry about whether the grass is mowed. Mind you, at $478,000 and up as indicated on the sign, this is not for everyone on a budget!
