Jacob Street
| 41 Jacob was the location of
Jubien and Sheehan Ltd., purveyors of Glass, Wallpaper and Paint.
President was Clifford Jubien. In the background you can see the
back of the Miner Rubber Co. Ltd. which was at 145 Brunswick Street.
This is the area of the city cleared in the sweep of urban renewal
in the mid to late 60's. This would be in the Scotia Square/Cogswell
Interchange area today (see 1962 map below). |
